The pricing of players this summer is ridiculous, lots of players, like Ndiaye, who are mid-table standard are being looked at as worth more than all but about 15 clubs in the world have ever spent on a single signing, it's utter madness.

14 goals and 12 assists last season and 14 goals and 16 assists the year before pushes you into the elite player territory and Rogers is priced to reflect that. Ndiaye and Summerville were nowhere near that for even a single season, I'd have those 2 in the £40m range where they could take a step up and get to the level Rogers is or they could stagnate and stay as average mid-table wide players. much like Garnacho who is much more realistic with the price.

Pretty much everything is £30-40m more expensive than clubs might "expect"* them to be. A player with Rogers' record wouldn't have been going for £117m a few seasons ago, much like N'Diaye / Summerville wouldn't have been £70m a few seasons ago.
