A couple of top wide players to come in, a CM (likely Palinha), a left back (Estupian) and a right back to come in
I don’t “know” this for certain but I’d be shocked if Mbaye isn’t one of them. We’ve wanted him for a year
Think we will hear news soon on at least one - will have been worked on while the Rodgers to Chelsea was being done
If Bogarde or Barkley leave then another CM comes in

Let’s see what emi does after the WC finishes tonight. Club want to keep him - do have keeper plans if he forces a move
If I was guessing on another wide player it would be Summerville

So Manzambi, Gomes, Paulinha, Estupiñán, Mbye, Summerville and possibly Royal.  Thats 6 players and the promised major overhaul! And not forgetting Alysson, Cissé and Madjo who will all technically be new squad additions too
Not sure we'll bring in both Mbaye and Summerville. I'm hoping it's the former.

No to Summerville, all fart and not a great deal of shit. Let Roma have him.  Garnacho is unwanted for a reason, football comes second with him.  I'm sure we are working on some quality incoming.
Mbaye or J Rowe for me.

Vinnie reckons two wingers coming in so could be both.  Im guessing it will also mean exits for Guessand and Bailey

No to J Rowe for me. Beyond one good game against us what is it that makes him a particularly compelling signing?

Bit greedy and mean of me but I’d be disappointed if it’s Summerville and Rowe. Not sure either will take us forward. That said, both already know the league and won’t take time to transition. Of the two, I honestly don’t know which was is better. I’m hoping for much further up the ladder. Mbaye for sure.

Mbaye on one side: Alysson / Burrowes  / McGinn on the other?

We're still light in the middle if Palhinha is not coming our way.

If you sign Mbaye, you need a mid 20s player that can hit the ground running too. Expecting a 20 year old and an 18 year old to be our creative force will spell trouble. Summerville I am very much underwhelmed by, but can see the point in bringing him in as well as MBaye.

I’d be fine with Summerville and M’Baye, but I wouldn’t be fine with Summerville and Rowe.

Ditto. I think my ideal to be honest now would be MBaye and Rashford, because I think the latter is important for club profile etc, and would give the other lads a bit of a lift that we are still ambitious. I also think Unai would get the best from him.

That’d be great.

I'd be fine with Mbaye and Rashford.

So you have Rash, Emi and McGinn to start the season in the forward midfield positions. You then have the 18/20 year olds off the bench

Mbaye, Nusa, Soule, Summerville would all do for me.

Harvey Barnes would not.

Mbaye or Nusa + Rashford is probably a pipe dream but would leave us stronger than last year with the other signings. We’d just need Emery work his magic with them. Never going to happen though

two from three; Summerville, Rashford and Mbaye. Then we've got Manzambi, McGinn, Buendia and Bailey (he's still here)

I hate to bring his name up but would Joe be a good loan option to play in Rogers’ inverted left spot.  Available, stylistically a good match, and decent insurance while Manzambi develops.

The spotlight/circus/feel good factor that would go with it would define the season but I’m unsure whether it’d be in a good or bad direction.
