Did Tanswell say before that we wanted Rayan but couldn't SCR him whereas Bmouth could?

Don't know whether it was SCR or 'a better pathway', but he definitely linked us (after the event)

The insinuation (if I remember correctly) was that he wanted to go to Bournemouth regardless of any interest from us.

Maybe Dolly understated it 20 years ago that we couldn't compete with the Boltons and Charltons.

I'm basing this entirely on the Germany game, but if Emi stays, what about Orlando Gil as a possible understudy ? His distribution was awesome, his saves not bad, he's only 26 and he currently plays at San Lorenzo in Argentina (so shouldn't be expensive, valued at $1million last year).

I just wouldn't ever really judge anyone on world cup performances. He's most likely that cheap for a reason.

Well I would suggest Dante is saying it would be a no-brainer for us and that he doesn't give much of a fuck about West Ham.
He did say, “ I don’t know what you mean”
It would be a no brainer for me to to buy a £million house for £100 grand.

Well, yes, but you bringing up him being behind their financial woes is just odd.

I don’t see what is odd about discussing a players potential move in the context of his clubs fcuked finacial position. Which bit don’t you understand?

I read it as in his opinion it would be a no brainer for Villa to do if could be done.

Reports in France that we are interested in French U21 keeper and human being Guillaume Restes;

https://sportwitness.co.uk/aston-villa-reach-verbal-agreement-with-france-u21-international-deal-there-to-be-done/

Apaprently, Toulouse believe he is an important player due to his having only conceded the 45 goals in his 33 appearances last season.

No end of fanciful news today! Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa is apparently giving us his best seductive look as he plots a move to the Premier League;

https://sportwitness.co.uk/newcastle-united-and-aston-villa-in-talks-for-same-signing-player-gets-to-choose/

It's not clear if we are after him, but supposedly Newcastle are helping themselves to a good sniff of Anis, too.
