Would Bowen improve us on the right compared to the likes of Bailey and Guessand? Absolutely yes.

Could we get better value elsewhere in the transfer market? Possibly, and very much depends on the deal and his wages.

The major plus for me is that Bowen would undoubtedly contribute towards goals (and assists) from other areas, which is something we’ve been lacking.

If Bowen's in our side for the Brighton game, I certainly won't be unhappy. It'll probably be a fun signing.

As long as people are alright with the down-side,  i.e the hand-wringing on here in 2029 when we're bemoaning our aging squad on big wages that we can't get rid of.
