Ramsey’s short time at Newcastle has been a disaster for him. Feel sorry for him.

Early days. A lot of our signings take ages to shine too.

I’m feeling oddly optimistic about this one. Sorry, all.

Id never believe Id ever see Bailey and Elliot on a villa bench a mth ago.  Martinez is lucky as Bizot was very good and Martinez has fumbled the odd goal.

Good to see onana start and lets hope everything comes off for Buendia .

Big game for Ollie .

no Garcia and Alysson must be injured .

One of the big keys to this game is getting out of it without any of midfielders getting hurt by the disgusting dangerous tackling of Joelinton

Same here. My mood has lifted since Thursday, and I think we'll get at least a point today.

Whisper it quietly but this Newcastle side doesn’t look that strong to me!

Something bad always happens to us when we play up there. Injuries, very early goals and red card etc. We need to avoid that today.

I would have matched them in midfield, three on three with Bogarde instead of Sancho against their big bastards. But Unai does know more about football than me.

I'm sure they will cut away later during the match to show players arriving for the Arsenal game.

This doesn’t bode well, a very shaky start to a match thread. Hope this is our bad half.
