The news regarding the English is Wolverhampton born Aaron Rai is in joint 2nd place with 4 others,which include Rahm and Aaberg. The bookies have got Rai at 16/1 to win it, which is about right, but at least he's given himself a chance.

Haven't paid much heed to him previously, but that's a life-changing win. Well deserved too!

OBE for Luke Donald fully deserved, along with Tony Jacklin the only Captains to have won the Ryder Cup both home and away.

Gonna be interesting to see how Aaron Rai gets on in the US Open, it's being played at Shinnecock Hills one of the toughest courses used for this tournament. Anyway let's hope this year's run of UK major winners will continue.
