Has Danny Murphy had some sort of football appreciation transplant ?
He’s actually giving us high praise.

Yeh he seems to have changed his tune towards us a lot

Great away performance in the first half there.  Been solid at the back and looked dangerous on the counter attack.  First goal was real quality.

BBC.  The context is, still, that this is a shock.

Let the game breathe. ******.

Reminds me of when Spurs would turn up at VP, play a different sport to us and leave with a 3 or 4 goal victory, that flattered us. Like during 15-0 week.

Remember when we were a crap team - in the dark days -  not so long ago, we'd get taken apart just like that.

And wonder - how can they be so much better than we are?

For years and years we'd play teams that much better and it was like they were playing a different sport to us.

Remember playing ManU year after year after year and sometimes we'd be the better team for an hour or more and still lose by one or two or 3.

That's the best 45 minutes we've played this season. The difference it makes having technically talented players who are so comfortable and confident with the ball. Rogers, Malen and Buendia are a joy to watch.

Disgusted with the ref for the two Spurs assaults in the first few minutes. Palhinha had no intention of playing the ball and we may lose Bouba for a few weeks now. Disgusting, cowardly challenge.

Whilst they have Paulinha and Simons playing, they are suprisingly not being very physical or athletic in midfield and that also helps. The few times they have upped the pace they have sneaked the ball and looked slightly dangerous.

Bale and Modric in 3rd gear or even Waddle and Clive Allen back in the dark age 40 years ago

Spurs fans joining in with Villa fans in singing ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ at Thomas Frank.  It’s never been this bad and toxic in here. This can’t go on.

Says a spurs fan on X

Well thanks for that. Let's hope he means over the course of the whole season, as opposed to the first half of the game or season.
