Tottenham could spend big this summer with a potential move for Aston Villa's 23-year-old England midfielder Morgan Rogers on the cards. (Football Insider)

I bet there are some Spurs fans who believe this could happen.  But probably more that know it’s farcical and are embarrassed to read it.

Some Morgan Rogers rumours might concern me over the next 6 months. They won't contain the words 'Tottenham' or 'Football Insider'.

I imagine it is the kind of deal we would try and do

I'd rather we put some money behind signing someone young and proven, but I'm not against it.

Whether this seasons been a purple patch or not, he's still been more consistent then most we've had there.

If there's a player of Wilson's ability, performing as he is, available on a free then go and get him. Players mature later in some cases.

Nice work as we strive to keep the average age at 28.

If it makes you feel better it'll be 29 next season.

No problem with Wilson on a free.  He's obviously not someone who will walk into our side, but he might help flesh out the squad if we're looking to move a couple on in the summer.

Indeed, improve the overall competition for places without spunking loads of our transfer budget. Same goes for the Spanish full back at Celta who’s also on a free.

BBC have the Celta chap, Oscar Mingueza, as playing left-wing currently for Vigo in their game at PAOK this evening.

Neco Williams might not be the worst shout in the summer. Can play in both full back positions, good age.

In what alternate reality are relegation haunted Tottingham going to start bidding for our better players.
