Legend status at a club is always going to be contentious because it means different things to different people. McGinn is definitely there, before that I can think of anyone since McGrath that fits. Emi, Mellberg and Taylor all come close for different reasons but aren't quite there for me.

There is an interesting difference between a legend and a cult hero but please don't ask me to define it. As an example I would regard Eamonn Deacy as a cult hero but nowhere near a legend like Sid.
