and now an extended essay by this clown about how terrible it is to call people names, whilst planting some classic 101 Jew-hate in the middle.
Maybe just shut up and listen to people who know what they’re talking about. Or have some humility as you lot keep saying.

Elliot your chatGPT link didn’t work. I’m open to feedback and open minded, if you’d like to unpack your accusations against me.
I’m not sure we should need to prove credentials to have a right to express an opinion, though I agree there will be varying levels of relevant experience. If you were really serious about wanting to know my professional credentials about what I do, where I have relevant experience or which very well respected Jewish figure* I work alongside feel free to DM me. (*not saying I agree with on everything but certainly benefit from a fair degree of sharing and community experience insights, sadly)

I have three Jews in my phone contacts. They're three of the most influential people in my career and I have enormous respect for them all. Am I allowed an opinion now?

I can’t compete with that level of expertise.

Eliot just hates multicultual Birmingham and we all know why. He's spent very little time here but is apparently an expert on our city of over a million people. Shame no one has ever pointed out that talkiing about something you know little about isn't the wisest.

Yes. Saying that “Jews should know better because of the Holocaust” is generally considered antisemitic.

Here’s why:

1. It stereotypes all Jews as a single collective

It assumes that every Jewish person is responsible for, shaped by, or must behave according to history. This treats Jews as a monolithic group rather than as individuals with diverse views, backgrounds, and beliefs.

2. It weaponizes Jewish trauma

Using the Holocaust to shame or blame Jews manipulates a history of genocide for political or moral leverage. This is disrespectful to victims and survivors, and it exploits one of the worst atrocities in history.

3. It implies Jews have a special moral burden

It suggests that Jews must meet a higher ethical standard because they suffered persecution. No group should be judged based on past victimization. People should oppose injustice because it is wrong—not because their ancestors suffered persecution.

4. It can be used to justify prejudice

Often, this phrase appears not as a sincere moral point but as a way to accuse Jews collectively of hypocrisy, especially in political conversations (for example, about Israel). When criticism crosses into blaming Jews as a group, it becomes antisemitic.

I’ve just said there aren’t very many Jews there anymore. Not sure that’s redolent of hate or belies a lack of expertise. Haven’t commented about any other element of the city at all.
You in particular really do have it in for Jews I’ve noticed. Constantly enraged over the past 6 weeks. Relax. It’s not healthy.

I also live in one of the most diverse parts of London. Extraordinary to say I hate multiculturalism. Barnet makes Aston look like parts of Suffolk

Eliot hates a multicultural city. Can't think why...

Where have I said that?
As to Why don’t Jews live in Birmingham. Lots of reasons, although most people don’t like having to live behind iron gates. They don’t live in Liverpool either which was the question, which again, seems to show ignorance on your part.

There are apparently five synagogues in Liverpool which for a city half the size of Birmingham seems to indicate more Jews per capita.

But why do they have to live behind iron gates only in Birmingham? What specifically in Birmingham do you think they need to be scared of? Is all these anti-semite Villa fans maybe?

A port city connected to Manchester, so when you got the second wave post 1650s ban being lifted of Jewish migrants from Germany in the 18th/19th century, they moved to where their skills in the industrial revolution were most transferable; that would be textiles. So some in Liverpool, more in Manchester and Leeds given the connectivity and industrial capacity. London, naturally as the capital. Our industrial growth didn't really attract in any large numbers as our industry was markedly different.

Is Michael Rosen one of them?

Sadly, no.

Shame as well. Great man but mentioned him in response to CD's post as he was also accused of being anti-semitic by people as sensitve as Elliot seems to be, including having someone photoshop one of his books to look like he was reading from The Protocols.

Yes. Michael Rosen is an antisemite and is considered so by most Jews. He’s never been invited to do a reading in a single Jewish school, and has been blacklisted by pretty much every Jewish cultural event.
Again, you have a good laugh about things you know nothing about.

Why should I discount his opinion just because he isn't invited to speak at Jewish schools? Is it just any jew who has been critical that I should ignore? I'll have to put them by you first so I know who I should take seriously.
