I'm annoyed that ep hasn't changed his user name to elliottpolak in honour of our new signing.

The reason I mentioned Tommy Robinson is that he stuck his unwanted oar into this argument. He was roundly condemned in many quarters but not our newly-emergent Jewish Villains or individual Jewish supporters, who have been so vociferous elsewhere.

It's a strange old world where it appears that Villa - not Leeds, Manchester City, Chelsea or any other club - seems to have a problem whereby Jewish supporters cannot make themselves known. Or for that matter, how Villa Park is seemingly the only place where an Israeli club can't play

Equally, it does seem a bit disingenuous that the aforementioned supporters club can guard its secret existence so well yet be so easily contacted by Villa fans when the need arises.

Finally, I've not seen any acceptance that a disapproval of Maccabi supporters is rooted in anything other than anti-Semitism.

I don’t get the Tommy Robinson obsession. He’s nothing to do with us. Others have spread lies online about us. Who would you go after. I’m no more interested in Tommy than I am anyone other online gobshite. He’s nothing to do with Villa, Jews, Jewish Villans etc etc.

Yes. To paraphrase Mrs Merton, what could it be about the area of Aston that is different from Chelsea or Manchester City. Tough one.

And there is no problem for Jews inside Villa Park. Nobody has said there is, in fact, every interview I started by stating the opposite. Many of us go every week. We had a Jewish chairman for 10 years, during some of which he didn’t do a very good job. I never once heard anti-Semitic abuse directed towards him from any fan. That’s astonishing if you think about it, and a credit

Can’t keep repeating myself, but I’m at games, on social media, got comments under our posts and media appearances. And post on other forums.

Again, nobody is saying the decision is anti-Semitic. Or at least, we certainly aren’t. ITV News at 6 I literally said those very words last Friday. But it is a decision borne of the consequences of rampant anti-semitism in the country, but particularly from the local MP, and his fellow Gauleiters.

Apologies for spelling Domesday wrong. But I’ve written a lot today so one mistake isn’t terrible.

I still struggle to get the animosity towards our fan group. We get nothing tangible from the club (other clubs allocate tickets to each fan group including Arsenal, Chelsea - not saying they should btw, seems mad) and unlike other fan groups we didn’t have a matchday handed over to a campaign relevant to our interests. We are entirely social and to assist the club.
There were talks about doing something on Holocaust Memorial Day for local primary schoolchidlren, but given the current MP is on the record as saying he believe the Holocaust to be ‘meaningless’ that may now prove tricky.

Tommy Robinson - you'll happily jump on anyone else but don't see why you should comment about him.

"The area of Aston" - go on, say what you mean.

In that case say that you accept people have genuine concerns about the presence of Maccabi and their supporters.

You have to be secretive then you're not. You keep a low profile but you want club support. You're afraid for your safety then appear in all aspects of the media. It all seems very strange to me.

So what do you think is going on? Let’s have the real story then. Please. All ears

Not ‘jumping on anyone else’ or shutting people down - only people who’ve lied about us. Nobody else is our concern.
I suspect if you were accused of things online you didn’t do, you wouldn’t be so benign either.

The area of Aston with a very high Muslim population. I don’t think that’s a secret. The Times last Saturday had a double page spread about it. That doesn’t mean all or even many Muslims, before you throw that one at us. But yes, it is Muslims who tend to have issues with Israelis more than Sikhs or 7th Day Adventists. I’m still not sure it helps anyone by you forcing me to state that though.

I think concerns about disorder are sincere of course. Just an amazing coincidence it’s the first ban of its kind in modern British football history.

We’re not secretive - we’re low profile. We don’t want club support - not sure where you get that idea from. We are afraid for our safety but felt compelled to speak out on this issue because nobody else had the expertise on both Villa and Israel that we have.

You’re genuinely a little nuts at this stage to still think this is a grand Zionist conspiracy. I’m sorry as I respect all you’ve done for Villa, and the fact that without you, Mac etc, this forum which I enjoyed for many years in the early 00s wouldn’t exist. But honestly. People have been sectioned for less.
Not one person with knowledge of the situation has questioned our legitimacy. Not one.

We also had quite a few things around the game planned that would have bought people together. A match between Muslim Villa fans, and travelling MTA fans. An opportunity for some of the hostages who are MTA season ticket holders to come to the game. An event the night before for officials of MTA with B’ham dignitaries and the like.
But instead, hate and cancellation has won. So well done everyone.
Be angry for sure about how the club and the area are now an international punchline. But don’t be angry at us for existing - try the local MP to start with, and his fellow Jew-haters.

I believe there will be some developments in the coming days that may to quote Warren Buffet I think, reveal who has been swimming naked. So we can revisit if things do develop in the way some are now expecting.

I really am going now, but happy to answer further questions tomorrow evening.

Because your opening attack on us had 5 lies. All that could’ve been checked with me or others first in private correspondence. So yes - I did feel the need to post here for the first time since David o’Leary was the manager.

Sorry to have hurt your very delicate feelings.

Just so I'm clear here, who are the victims in this situation? Who are the perpetrators?

A match between Villa's Muslim fans and travelling MTA fans.

The same travelling MTA fans who chant about there being no kids in Gaza??

If it's a career in diplomacy you are considering it may be wise to have a bit of a rethink.

I think a lot of this is just bitterness and an old man shouting at the clouds. Yes - in the olden days, if something happened at Villa, the world and its wife wanted to hear your thoughts.
Now nobody cares what any of us think. The club is global, no one person can just call the CEO and have a chat like the old days, and organisations like ours proliferate in a DEI friendly era. Everyone has a say through social media and phone ins. But nobody’s say means anything.
Your access to the big dogs and owners has presumably gone, as fanzines and forums in 2025 are sadly as relevant as the Boer War.
But yeah, blame Jews innit. Bloody Jewish Villans causing all these problems.
Over and out

Well no, different ones obviously.

There are surely plenty of MTA fans who aren't thugs or racists. Let's not tar all fans with the same brush.
