Site Slow?

Please be aware that during transfer, the site will still be alive(?) here until until the records point to the new server, if posts appear to have 'vanished' it is due to the move.
The alternative is to close the site down until the move is completed.

Actually I can run databases on both servers and they should match, but with the slowness of this one, some posts might not appear.
I don't think l want to shut the site down unless l have to.

I'm no expert on websites, but I do work in Communications.

My advice would be to do whatever is quickest, even if it means being offline for a little while.

I know the site doesn't rely on ad funding, but I imagine traffic is down significantly over the past week or so.

Not complaining at  , but I didnt realise how much I am on here until you start waiting for it ..
