The thing is new players never hit the ground running with Unai as it takes them time to understand what he wants and expects, but when we take loans its more hit and miss as they don't have the time to adapt.  Rashford and Asensio pulled it off but they were more experienced

I still don’t know what he has done or achieved in the game that warrants his reputation, albeit a diminished one now, and his salary.
I know he was decent in Germany when he was a kid, a had one or two standout years. But the German league is nowhere near the standard of the PL.
I’ve never seen him have a truly great game or even put in a MOTM performance for any team he has represented, including England.

I think he is the very definition of a player (reputation wise) being all fart and no shit.

Typically the media found out that he was decent in Germany and that he was English and started pushing for his inclusion into the England squad and Mouthgate duly obliged. Once he had had a few half decent appearances he then was touted as being the next big thing. In typical fashion once a player gets that hyped up he is reported as being on the Redfilth watch list and we all know how they like to spunk ridiculous money in transfers and wages to try to continue to look relevant - usually in hilarious cases

Mount @ £50m
Anthony @ £85m
Van de Beek @ £35m
McGuire @ £80m
Hoijlund @ £80m
Sesko @ £80m

Fucking laughable they get their pants pulled down so often

I take it we can’t send him back this month?

He doesn't really look like scoring or assisting.

Why can’t Unai see this.
It’s his blind spot.

I lost count of the amount of attacks that fell apart when the ball came to him. Weak, cowardly, does the bare minimum.

Stealing a living.

We would have won if he didn’t play.

I really don't see the point of Sancho at the moment. He does nothing  going forward and is very light weight. Surely Malen would offer more in all departments.

I generally try to find something positive about most players and I've defended Sancho on here a fair bit but that tonight was awful, absolutely nothing he tried came off.

Absolutely crap. Doesn't look remotely interested. 100% back to the Mancs in summer. A terrible acquisition.

A waste of a shirt, again. Elliott has more influence on our matches than this cowardly turd

He didn't play well but I never like the hyperbolic reactions to players. He worked hard, constantly tracking Mitchell, and isn't a coward or one of the worst players to play for us or whatever. He just isn't able to influence games enough. Palace are very physical, I am not sure it was the right game for him even if he was in form.
