I think if his attitude was poor he'd be nowhere near the team. It's not that, it's confidence, and you can't teach that.

You don't need to have confidence to have courage. Sancho has all the talent in the world but no heart.

But like Bailey ,I dont think he can actually tackle.  Scenarios like that I think I would put Cash further up the field bring Konsa over and bring on Linderlof

Come on Unai get a grip  :D

Neither Bailey nor Sancho had my old PE teacher, for whom a meek tackle was a sure fire way of getting yourself injured.

If there was one single piece of coaching advice that was drilled into me mor than any other by various coaches of my youth it was 'never shit out of a tackle'.

Totally, though now I think about it, isn’t it a bit counter intuitive?

Like an officer persuading a foot soldier at the Somme that the faster and straighter he runs, the safer he’ll be.

I was given the same advice and took it as gospel. I was a tough little sod on the pitch, which is amusing to me now as I'm the world's biggest coward*, and have been for decades.

*That's right, I can't just be a gutless twat. I have to award myself a prize, a title and I think I have a ceremonial gown somewhere.

Sound advice, although a smashed knee cap left on a wet Leeds University playing field, makes me wish I was a bit more Sancho like in my approach to 50/50's

Sancho or snatcho as someone put it earlier, doesn't put in any meek tackles, he just avoids any tackling whatsoever. A fraud as clear as day.

Send him back, but certainly do not keep him
Talented, but no appetite for the nitty gritty
Much better out there at that price tag
Goodnight and goodbye

How many chances does the guy get when he's just appallingly bad and has no impact on the game.  What is it, one goal and two assists all season?  For 200k a week?  Comedy signing, but even more of a comedy decision to give him so much time on the pitch this season.

He has no head.

And a heart the size of a pea.

Absolutely can not be relied upon to be acceptable let alone good.

My expectations when we signed him were so low but even those have been surpassed in how bad he’s been.

This sums it up. I tried to convince myself he’d been anything other than rubbish at Chelsea and Emery would make him better still.
It was all lies. He offers absolutely nothing. Worse still. He’s often a liability.
