3 new signings would be good, or at least 2. A bit alarming that UE said there may be more departures, if so, very alarming! This squad looks wafer thin, especially going into another European campaign.

I will give Newcastle their due, they played with a passion I havn't seen from Villa for quite a while. Fast flowing football, maybe a touch over the top with tackles which cost them eventually.
This week I fully expect to see us passing the ball, unfortunately it will be to each other across the back line, allowing Palace to stack their defence. We are becoming boring to watch.
