Aston Villa can confirm that Finley Munroe has joined Swindon Town on a season-long loan.

The versatile left-footed player spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Real Unión in Spain, making 24 appearances, registering one goal and three assists.

He joined the Villa Academy from Chelsea in July 2021, signing his first professional contract a year later.

Munroe penned a new deal in April 2024 before making his senior debut a month later, coming off the bench against Olympiacos in a UEFA Conference League semi-final, then making his Premier League bow against Crystal Palace.
