Went by Hampden loads of times, went to shops near there. For some reason never thought to go to Cathkin Park.

It's as though Queen's Park and Partick Thistle don't exist when it comes to randomly deciding to support a Glasgow club.

Do their fans vociferously support Irish republicanism and the Free Palestine movement? I’ll keep similarly sympathetic eye out for their results if so. I’ve recently developed a fondness for Rayo Vallecano. They must have won lots of cups or something.

Stenhousemuir are still drawing 0-0 against Alloa. I have a Stenhousemuir shirt somewhere.

Have to say loved being in Glasgow. Outside of football talk it was a really friendly place. Pretty much impossible to catch a bus or train and not have someone start a chat. And they'd ask why I was there, about Brum etc. Or randomly ask about Villa if I was wearing something Villa. As long as you were smart, same as any place, it was great.

That'll ease the hysteria on Merseyside.

Do Rayo Vallecano have tens of millions of supporters?

No? Almost like winning loads of trophies has something to do with it.

No idea as i'm not a glory hunter that supports any football team in other countries.

Nah, they'll sack him before the end of the season.

Yeah, I think Glasgow is one of the friendliest places on Earth while simultaneously being a place you can get in a bit of bother if you don't keep your wits about you. If you walk into any pub with an obviously non-local accent, you're guaranteed to get someone come over and chat.

Wasn't it once labelled the 'murder capital of Western Europe' whilst being voted its friendliest city?

Went out one New Year there and I was adopted by loads in the bar as I was English. Only time I was really nervous was I found myself in Govan one day with a Villa hat and jumper on and there was one of those parades going on and I was on my todd. But no real bother.

That said I wouldn't have just gone into a pub on a Sat night on my own in Castlemilk for example.

Rangers have won loads of trophies, yet I hate them. How strange.
