That frizzy haired twat Cucurella mouthing off and gesturing at the linesman and ref and carrying it on when spoken to, how come he wasn't booked.

Celtic are the good guys compared to Rangers, but only in the same way that Mussolini was alright compared to Hitler.

They're both utter twats, and if you're not from Glasgow and "support" them, then so are you.
So your not from Birmingham you can't support Aston Villa,?

If Villa win fifty league titles and people across Britain and Ireland pretend to support them just because they've won fifty league titles, then they would be twats. As that isn't the case, the comparison is worthless.
As I stated previously they may support Celtic and you can include Rangers as well because it's been handed down through generations, same as my grandchildren Aston Villa will be pass down to them and hopefully their children

Eintracht Frankfurt and Augsburg two down so it doesn't really matter whether Freiburg hold on, and they may choose to rest players in the second half.

Grew up in a sea of Celtic over here in Belfast and its a religion over here. Wallowing in sectarianism is par for the course. Rangers are a different kind of bigotry though - its bred in you from birth to death and they don't care who knows it. Gutted for Hearts. Absolutely gutted for them.

I agree, but for some reason Celtic are seen as the good guys.
Presumably the difference in levels of distaste is because a) being from a protestant background doesn't feel key to identity for those growing up in the Midlands but being catholic (or of irish descent) seems more likely to do so for some; b) this forum swings left?

I'm very wary of mixing of politics or nationalism with sport so my distaste is pretty even (the self-entitled reaction to the financial implosion of Rangers has created a slight preference for Celtic but I'd favour their opponents in any other match apart from European ties against a small number of English teams).

Fernandez is a horrible player. How could he say that wasn't a yellow?

Hate both of these teams but Chelsea just edge it. Be nice if they both lost.

Manchester clearly isn't booming that much under 'The King of the North', despite what the BBC say.

No idea how anyone can cheer that scumbag club.

How is it a scumbag team?

Because it was founded by Irish immigrants?
Or because some of their fans are scumbags?

I’d accuse Rangers fans of similar
One no better than the other

Hate seeing politics or sectarianism on this forum tbh

Because they get every decision in every match?
Because their supporters inside Villa Park spent all match singing about terrorism?
Because they still claim to be the underdog?:

Hardly scumbag actions but I won’t argue Dave

You don't thinking singing pro-IRA songs in Birmingham as they wandered the streets about Digbeth and then inside Villa Park is the action of scumbags?

2 teams built on dodgy/untraceable money ...The Shithouse Final, I'd give it a miss myself tbh.

3-1 to Freiburg. If their home kit is red and white stripes, how come we are playing in our white away kit on Wednesday?
