A toaster in a cupboard is just Satanic.

We have always left our toaster out of the cupboard.
My mom was from Waterford.

Ah, so the D stands for Déise.
The D is my old man surname
Her maiden name was Dempsey.

It hit his head

Did well to be a professional footballer with an incorporeal arm then.

But as I stated it still shouldn't have been given as there was no advantage at all as it would have hit is head anyway. If they had given it for the potential elbow, it would have still been harsh but at least more understandable.

Oh yeah, he gains absolutely nothing from it.

Indeed, who the hell puts a toaster in a cupboard?

I thought it was just a throwaway bit of nonsense in Derry Girls.

It's not really a thing, is it?

Haven't seen live footage yet but apparently the ball powered back away. If it hit his hand the ball would have dropped down, must have come back off his head.

Review for yourself. Not obvious until they do the frame-by frame sections, but I don't see how it doesn't hit his hand somehow as he had it across his forehead. Still not a penalty for it though.

I think Chris Sutton thought it was a pen

That seals it for me. Must have been a penalty then.

What if you only have toast once a year, surely it goes in a cupboard until next year.

The ball bounces back off with power, that only happens if it's his head.

We live in a world where people put their eggs in a cupboard rather than the fridge. Anything's possible.

Does anyone still think the game isn’t approaching corrupt?

Jamie Bryson isn't happy about it either. https://x.com/JamieBrysonLLB/status/2054667717441905128
