Czechia 1-0 up against Denmark.
Cracking hit from the edge of the box.  The barstewards.

Denmark seem to have some talent coming through, no idea if they're playing for the national side but over the last few weeks I've seen our name linked with a few and on further investigation it's been a case of 'oh another Danish player'. How do you rate them, ViD?

Cole Palmers hair has reminded me to add Shredded Wheat to my shopping list for tomorrow.

The defence is suspect, midfield are clueless and my cat would improve the attack. Been impressive apart from that.

Our formation seems a bit of a mess, people getting in each others way.

A tale as old as time, throw a load of good players onto the pitch and hope for the best.

For most matches, Tuchel has decided on formation of who is best for the team and it has worked to some extent. In this match he decided to bow to Arse's "injuries" and also decided to throw on three players all competing for the one slot because two of them play for the "six".

Entirely on Palmer, gave it away far too easily but then jogged back without a care in the world as they broke away.

Hugely overrated. Scored a load of penalties and everyone thought he was the new Pele.

Palmer is a cracking player, but like so many over the years he struggles to show it for England.

They’re missing Rice in midfield. Overall, it’s an improvement on the last game. Ollie Watkins should be thinking of making the squad if he excels in the final part of the season.

Konsa worrying about other peoples area instead of getting onto the ball and carrier and preventing the cross coming in. Just like he seems to do each match.

He’s pretty good.

Konsa is Maldini and Baresi rolled into one compared to Maguire and English prop, Dan Burns. It's hardly the greatest squad but the defence is more Dad's Army than late 80s/early 90s AC Milan.

Seems that ITV only have the one person to call upon as a co-commentator.

"Can't blame Cole Palmer there. We should be praising him for wanting the ball."

Also noticed no criticism of him for not passing to Foden then overhitting the pass afterwards.

The defending after Palmer lost the ball was abysmal though. Attacking players that run with the ball will lose it sometimes as we know with Rogers.

I think all the raving about the (mainly average) number 10s has led everyone to miss that this is a really average England team, which will amount to fuck all this summer.

Yes he screwed up but Ben White was too far forward once the pass was made. Maybe Konsa could or should have done better closing the winger down.
