54 seconds missing a penalty to scoring an own goal….even Ange couldn’t have manufactured that farce

As soon as you posted what you wanted you should have known what would happen.

Indeed. It's like I've learned nothing from my own ranting.

Just switched on this grim looking game at Braga. Where are the fans?

Is Dyche ball that off putting?

Imagine serving your apprenticeship under Clough and thinking that sort of low rent attritional football is the thing to do.

Like learning at the feet of Da Vinci and drawing stick men.

You appointment Dyche to get you out of the shit.

Stating that though, they lost to a team with no shots on target whilst registering lots of chances themselves. Sounds very similar to us v Everton the weekend.

I’m hoping we get a tie on the Iberian Peninsula in the next round. Who is likely? Any chance of Betis?

As it stands (obviously likely to change), and assuming higher seeded team won in each round, we would play:

L16 Bologna or Forest
QF Ferencvaros or Betis
SF Freiburg or Midtjylland
F Lyon

All second legs at home, final in Istanbul. (Beşiktaş's ground, so other side of the Bosphorus from this evening).

At least Tammy will know where the goal is there.
