Don’t think I’ve ever heard us name checked by commentators in a live game that we didn’t play in….seemed every few minutes

Yes, a new record has been established.

My brother's dog heard me moaning about it and joined me for a howling session.

Leeds win
Fulham win
Spurs win
ManC draw

Is what I want

I don't care where Sunderland and Spurs are in relative terms, I'd still always want Sunderland to win

Let’s hope for a dirty game, several red cards and an outbreak of dysentery or cholera

If we want to finish in the top 3 or 4 our rivals are teams who won’t drop points most weeks. Even if we do the same it’s rare to make up any ground. But they will have games against each other and will drop unexpected points in other games occasionally. We just need to make sure we’re winning our games when they do.

Taking a step back, isn’t it lovely to be over 40 points in the first week of January. Gerrard seems a long time ago.

I remember a Liverpool supporting mate of mine asking something of the gist of what do you expect from Villa when I was complaining about Gerrard. I don't think even at my most optimistic I'd have predicted what Unai's done.

The Tunisian keeper really should have saved that penalty.

I''d prefer a draw. Same with Arsenal v Liverpool (or maybe an away win).

A team who could go above us with a win? It's a tricky one given we're probably more likely to be in competition with Chelsea for league position but I'd be happy with a draw and dropped points for both.
Whatever the result there is a positive angle for us. But a draw has to be best surely. One point thrown to the wind, and neither team makes any significant gain against us.

This for me. I genuinely think it's on. The Liverpool game in 1981 is when I started to believe and it may be a bit later this time but I still believe.
