The 16 year old kid, who got the winner, did more in the few minutes he was on, than Salah did in 103 minutes.
And Elanga who was equally useless

Newcastle have started the season with the same points we've got, after finishing level last season (GD I know).

I doubt their fans are shitting themselves as much as ours are. Doubt they're questioning Howe either.

We haven't played Liverpool though.

Amazing to construe into an opportunity to have a dig at Villa fans. They probably also wouldn’t look for any possible way to slag off a successful centre forward.

There’s a few more names you could add to that list.

Indeed - I think most fairly sensible people are highlighting a couple of things. Our squad isn’t strong enough, and we’ve got things quite wrong in the first couple of games. Both pretty obvious.

It's not a dig at Villa fans though. It's putting things into perspective.

I got moaned at yesterday for posting about Watkins too much and now you've brought it back up. As you mentioned it, do you think 17 goals in 61 apps is good?

It is a dig, you’re benching marking Villa fans against Newcastle fans.

I can’t quite work out which games you’re selecting, seems kind of arbitrary. But 74 goals and 30 odd assists from 180-190 league games is pretty bloody good.

It’s 17 in 54.  If you are going to repeat stats at least get them accurate.

Newcastle have basically owned us on our own pitch, and then deserved to win whilst down to ten men for half the match against Liverpool.

We have been owned - by Newcastle - on our own pitch, and put in a Gerrardian performance at Keith Andrews' Brentford.

That's why our fans are reacting negatively.

Also, pretty rich for the person who seems to think our record PL goalscorer is on a par with Warren Aspinall to be calling anyone doomish.
