Currently 0-0 in the big local derby between Northampton and Southampton. If it passes off peacefully hopefully it will be a step closer to reunification.

Charity Shield today

Withe 2-2 Falcao
Anyone else there ?
Yeah. It kicked off in the stadium didn't it.

I saw a Spurs fan getting kicked around like a rag doll by a group of Villa on the concourse in our end before the game. It was hideous to see and there's still twats around that glamourise football violence.

A mob of Spurs came up to the steps of our end at Wembley a couple of hours before kick off and there was a flurry of fighting. I remember I'd just left school and was amazed that somebody had enough money to throw an unopened can of beer at us.

There was a sizeable contingent of Spurs in the lower section of the Villa end that day. I didn't go downstairs at HT but a load of Spurs had come under the stands to confront the Villa fans drinking there. Apparently it was mayhem and they were seen off after a fierce battle.

We went with the Sutton Coldfield Lions club coach and there was lots of gesturing on the coach park after from people sat safely on coaches, but I didn't see any more trouble.
While waiting at the bar, two sly bastards side punched the brother and ran off before we could do anything

Bromley knock Ipswich out.  Meaning Bromley are better than the noses.

Shels let in a last minute goal to lose 3-1, and drop down to the Conference League. They now play Linfield again for a place in the group stages.

Jhon Duran with a goal for his new team Fenerbache as they come back from being 3-1 down on aggregate to win 6-4 in the CL qualifier vs Feyenoord.

Have PSG really not played a single friendly since the CWC final? I can't find any reference to one online (was wondering if Asensio had been playing). If not, might be tempted to bet on Tottenham beating them as they'll be fitter.

Friendlies obviously but Spurs haven't been too good in theirs. Beat Reading, drew to Wycombe and Luton on same day. beat Arse, drew Newcastle, wrecked against Bayern. They might fluke the same kind of win they fluked in the Europa final but that would be the only way.

Also mention Chelsea only had two friendlies since but I expect that would be down to one or none if they were playing in the same competition.
