BBC seems to think he is still finding out whether the red card carries an extra suspension or not. Not sure if it is a disciplinary points build up or something else though as DOGSO is normally one match ban unless really violent.

Depends on the pinch I suppose, for example if the Vinnie Jones pinch of Gascoigne happened these days it would be a red card. Still not sure why you think hair pulls shouldn't be a red though, if your partner has long hair, give it a violent yank back when they least expect it and see if they think it is nothing.
