It was a red which became a red after Chelsea played their face. I hate the behaviour but sometimes I wish Villa were more like it because we'd get far more of those subjective calls.

Nah, VAR would have looked at that regardless of what the players did.

Not a red for me. Proper modern VAR red card. Cynical foul, yes, dangerous? Nah.

Are replays still a thing in the FA Cup?

Only in the qualifiers.

I doubt if it had been the other way around VAR would have insisted on the ref going to the monitor. I'm instinctively opposed to coach challenges or whatever, but I do think we have to force VAR reviews into being looked at equally regardless of status, and that seems the only way to do it.

Yellow for me. VAR at its worst re-reffing the game.

And the red has now ruined the spectacle!

Well I just don't agree. It seemed like an obvious sort of challenge that VAR would look into. We'd be fuming if someone went in on Kamara like that.

Orange. 10 minutes in the sin bin, as in rugby union. There are so many different levels of red.

I think that would have been a straight red in a PL game. It was only the 'magic of the Cup' that led to the ref initially giving him a yellow.

I am not sure who's the biggest donkey in PL, Delap or Woltemade?

I like Woltemade. I think he’ll be a great player.

They’re both good players who would improve us greatly.
