Guaranteed into the knockouts and one more win should guarantee auto qualification. We either need to win the next two matches scoring 3 more goals then Midtylland or hope them or Lyon have an unexpected result in their next two matches (whilst we win both) to get top 2.

Edit: And upto 34th in the standings.

Sorry, what difference does it make if we finish top two?  Does it mean seeded?

Home 2nd leg ties through to the final for the top 2. I'm not sure if the first placed gets "home" for the final either if they qualify for that.

Thanks mate.

Be good if Roma get a really tough tie as I reckon they will creep through to the latter rounds and be a threat.

We’ve just been doing enough helped by the fact only 2 of our games have been against teams currently in the top 24. You’d think/ hope that we’ll step up when the time comes.

We've only had one misstep all season in this competition, although it feels like we've rode our luck a bit. While we're not top 8 secured yet, it feels like it's a matter of time.

Sorry, this question probably been asked before
But what’s the difference in finishing top 2 and top 8 as I thought finishing in the top 8 you got second legs at home anyway

You do in the last sixteen. Finish in the top two you would be at home second leg in QF and SF too if you make it.

^^ Where have you been? All football fans sing about raping women, drinking blood and slaughtering school kids, apparently.

Something I've not seen mentioned - that was the third favourites for the Europa League we flicked aside earlier

(behind us and Porto)

They’re not even in the top 8 currently how can they be third favourites? I’m not sure they’ll squeeze into the top 8 either, and then have the ball ache of the two extra games in Feb, just what you want hovering above the relegation zone with Dyche as your Manager.

Well, we're ridiculously heavy favourites and there are teams ahead of us.

Forest have also comfortably beaten the second favourites to win it this season already.
