30 minutes to go, time to throw on the subs.
What have we got to lose?

Bailey, Malen, Youri, Ramsey  - get somebody on who can either put in a decent pass, run with the ball, or chase their back 4 down

Fuck me the commentators are getting a bit carried away with Utd. They will be tripping over each other's erections sion.

I think the time Darren Fletcher has spent on TNT with Ferdinand and Savage has rubbed off on him.  He's almost willing Manchester United to score.

The other thing - we are down to ten and have no pace on counter. We’re playing terribly but we also set up stupidly in the circumstances.

One thing I'm certain of, McGinn on the left has had its day.

Really negative selection with how we've played when we have better on the bench (Ramsey).

He got us up the pitch quickly v Man. City and won the penalty so again to me poor he's been overlooked when he's been off for two weeks.

I'm just relieved we're playing the broken, demoralised "trying to get the manager sacked in a poisonous atmosphere" version of Man Utd.

Imagine how bad it would be otherwise.

I'm in Salamanca, and very pleased I chose a siesta over following the games in a local bar.

Cross by Cash but nobody there, then SJM puts it off target. Typical of today.

Somehow, with half an hour left we are still only one flukey goal away grom the CL.

Not if the Chelsea have stays at it is.

Newcastle still 0-0.

I stand corrected! Come on Villa.
