That’s that. Nevermind.

Honestly, I don’t get why we always shit the bed when we need to perform.

As Big Ange would say..."that's just who we are mate"...have you not being paying attention for all of these years?

Im sorry, but the board, Emery and his staff have to take responsibility for this.  They've allowed this talk about Martinez's future to fester and its clear they're trying to force him out.  Its likely cost us top 4 now.  Thanks a bunch you clowns.

As if by magic he appears......

Haven't even had a corner yet have we?

Our approach in that first half is beyond defence really, we've lost pretty much all the 50/50s and duels in the centre of the pitch and that is completely unacceptable with the state Man. United are in.
We've had 2 or 3 corners. Done nothing with them though.

Future quiz question:

In which game did 2 goalkeepers both make their final appearances for a club?

We were lucky not to be behind before that malfunction at half time. Onana was utterly abysmal in that first half. Ridiculous to think they played a European final a few days ago and we’ve had a week off. That’s the only thing that might help us in the second half.

I thought Onana was one of the only ones to actually show anything in that half. The rest were pretty shite.

He kept giving the ball away but I guess you could put Rodgers, Watkins and McGinn in that bracket first half.

It’s very slim pickings to pick a decent performance from anyone in a Villa shirt tbh.

Rogers owes us a performance. I love him but for the last 6 weeks he’s been living off past glories

Tielemans on, Obama off.  From the off.

And stop, STOP thinking this is 2010.  Grow a pair FFS.

Unai would get absolutely baracked if he did that
It's not like there isn't any president for that substitution

The red card didnt look totally wrong to me. Cash under pressure will give situations like that now and then IMO. Our plan probably was to go for it second half. 7th not so unlikely now.
