I think the retro adidas badge is wasted and pointless on that, though. It should be on a retro-style shirt.

Agreed, simple white shirt, claret collar and claret stripes on the sleeves with the trefoil would be perfect.

I do remember something about there being a kit that pays tribute to the stained glass or something like that. I guess it looks like stained glass?

The grey kit really emphasises how piss poor the drop shadow is on the new badge. It looks like a distorted mess or seeing double…either way it was a proper crap design decision .
