In answer to the last question who knows? It's one of life's mysteries that we turn to mush every time we play Crystal bloody Palace lately.
Last seasons 5-1 we put down to the lads being already on the beach after qualifying for CL. It was baffling how we managed to lose 4-1 there this season although i think our defence was a bit of a strange set up that day.
Go back a few seasons and we were denied a perfectly good goal at Selhurst when Jack was adjudged to have tried to con the ref by diving even though he'd already played a perfect through ball for Lansbury  to score. Onto to Wembley and we were lucky not to concede 5 in the semi final.
Crystal Palace are becoming quite the monkey on our backs.
