Nah they’re shit. They’ve proven that week after week. Their reserves aren’t suddenly going to elevate themselves to starting players. We need to do our job and put them to the sword. Which obviously also means take it seriously, prep well and be clinical. They get behind they’ll fall apart.

We’re absolutely sure it’ll be the reserves?

No chance of Skippy saying, around Thursday teatime: ‘Right, this is the match in which you’ll book your starting place in the Final with CL glory to be won…etc… etc…St Swithin’s Day…’

I mean, we’ll still ‘ave em, but there could be a shock first 2 minutes.

No, no worries. They sold Oliver Skipp to Lesta last year. For £20m!

Not exactly sure what's happened Spurs this season.it's been some collapse point wise compared to last season. Injuries can only be a part of it.
Charlatan of a Manager?  Same for Redfilth

It was only March last year, they battered us at Villa Park and looks odds on to get top 4. They bottled the run in and Ange has never managed to turn it around there.

Battered us in second half at Spurs earlier this season too after a defensive apocalypse from us.

Managers have had time to work out how to take their underlapping fullbacks out of the game and exploit the space they leave in behind, Ange has done fuck all to change or address it so everyone has started trying to do the same thing, and it works pretty regularly. It means they are really easy to score against on the counter.

He talked about wrapping players in cotton wool. I’m sure it won’t be 10 changes. I’m actually hoping it’s their first team.

They’re definitely giving Son some minutes as he’s been injured recently so I do hope we leave Engels out.

He's usually good for a goal against us so...yeah, can't wait.

You would think so, but..since Emery took over we’ve played them six times, 5 in the league once in the cup, dating back to 1st January 2023. We’ve won 4 and lost 2. We’ve scored 9 and let in 11 (those two big defeats home and away in the league). Out of those 11 goals in two and half years, Son has scored one of them.

Jinxed it for Friday now obviously.

Villa win. Can see Ange resting a few players, he knows he's got one shot to possibly save his job.

One shot at saving his CV, think the horse has bolted on his job.

It’s interesting that 2 managers that are being criticised for not changing their tactics face each other in a European final.
One of them will walk away with a trophy.
