if he hadn't passed it,Ramsey wouldn't have scored.. nothing technically about it. Digne, I thought was very good most of the game always making himself available but at times had very little support. But please do not let him take  free kicks.

I think it’s a different approach to journalism than your standard, Preston attacked on the twelfth minute before Villa asserted some control on the twentieth minute…..
He toured with the Football Weekly Podcast and was good value, an excellent rant on Ange.
Don’t get me wrong I agree there is a degree of looking down on Preston and I don’t agree with his sentiment to them but it’s different at least.

I'd never heard of butter pies until a visit to Greenhalgh's Bury earlier this year. Totally agree, they're lovely. Bury market is ace, Longley Farm cottage cheese, great butchers, no wonder there are coach trips to the market.

He’s far from an idiot. Don’t particularly agree with the tone of the piece, but in fairness Preston had a home quarter final, their best chance was to try and come at us. They didn’t really do that and they still ended up comfortably beaten.

Much of The Guardian's football coverage is nauseating though so it's no surprise that's where he ekes out a living. I dislike all these attempts at intellectualizing football. It's missing the point.
