Need to improve massively.  For all our possession, we've not created anything of note.

We’ve done ok but when we’ve needed a bit of cut and thrust we’ve been ponderous. Lack a focal point and need to remember we’re better than them and be sharper.

Woeful.  Loads of the ball but no idea once we get outside Prestons penalty area.  Rodgers, Ramsay and Digne have been abysmal, Rashfords free kicks belong at Twickenham.  Seems to me complacency about us playing against "only a lower league team".

The have a massive opportunity to become Villa Legends in this competition. If they can't rise to it when it matters that is concerning.

Digne's passing has been really poor so far

He has been really poor. He set the tone in the 1st minute with the suicidal pass insidethat could have led to a penalty. 70% plus possession and the 40 something goalie has not had a shot to save.

We coud not have given them more encouragement if we had tried.

Forget the tippy tappy passing in front of teh opposition. We need to get it forward quickly, get more balls into the box and ask questons of a goalie who must be rusty.

both of his were low and at the keeper weren’t they? Or do I not understand Rugby anymore?
