Definitely, what have you got in mind?

The erotic thriller I mentioned. Come on Lou, you're the target market 😉

How well you know me, Rory.
And, if it’s set in a dystopian sci-fi fantasy universe, I’m placing my order now! 👍🚀

Do you think it's about time I wrote another book?

Another?

To follow on from the eleven I wrote earlier in the century.

I know, just kidding. The wife gets one as a birthday present  every year.

And a book.

Ok. Go for it! Have you already got something in mind on a football philosophical level? Two great subjects!

It depends, is it an autobiographical account about life in the royal family?

Nah, an erotic thriller set against the backdrop of the later Ellis years is what I want.

That made me laugh more than it should have.

I could get behind this. Maybe the mid 80s would be better though. An explanation for why we got relegated so soon after winning the European Cup. Boardroom shenanigans, and taking our eye off the ball. Combining my two favourite things, Aston Villa, and er … the 1980s.

This would be my preferred era to dissect too. We start and end the decade fighting for the title but have to suffer a lot in between.

Definitely. I think a book on the Lerner years would be extremely interesting.

I dunno...anything post-millennial we lived and dissected on here ad nauseum and the plethora of football podcasts have hoovered-up all the tales and "bantz" of recently retired footballers.
