He has had an unfortunate start, with being excluded from CL squad then sickness.
I have high hopes he is a viable alternative to Bailey.

I’m already getting Sanson vibes with Malen.

I am too.

And I know it doesn't stand up to any actual examination of the facts. It just feels that way.

Yes that’s what I meant.  I have no rationale for it.  Other than we are obviously going to lose him to Spurs in the summer.  According to the press.  See also Berson.

Yeah, I get this too. I think his future will depend a lot on if we plan to flog Ollie this summer.

Why? He's done well when he's played.

Some people just don't have any patience whatsoever that's why.

He was left out of the CL squad, a couple of weeks after signing. Villa being in the CL was surely a big reason for wanting to join us. Then we sign two "galacticos" attacking player plus the lad he's meant to usurp, Bailey Leon, has started to look like an actual footballer again.

Just on the offchance - my eldest is moving to Osaka in a couple of days and was wondering whether any other H&Vers happened to be there and fancied watching the game together.

Kanpai!
I'm flying out on the 3rd so will be in osaka for the cl quarter final. Had assumed I'd be watching in bed but if there's somewhere to watch it I'd be game!

That's brilliant Ger! Thank you. Mini Rodders - in real life he towers over me - is no stranger to a late night, so I'm sure would be well up for it.

He's currently in the air over the Baltic so I'll DM you once I've communicated with him if that's ok.

It’s always possible if course but I just assumed he was going through the Emery reprogramming regime.

Yep, he's here for the long term and they want to make sure he fits, no will or need to do that with Asensio or Rashford but even they have been given time to bed in.

Might just be me; but I have had a nightmare printing the tickets, the PDF wouldn't load.

The ticket office was very good and sent me another email.

Just in case others have trouble. :D :D

Just to warn you, the email says "This is not your ticket". If you have a pdf attachment, it is.
