Has really struggled in the games I've seen. Tell tale signs, not really wanting the ball when high, not wanting to push on at all on overlap as he can't get back. Think Maatsen should start v Spurs, time for him to finally nail that spot. Gives us badly needed width and legs in the team, granted not the best defender.

Yes, but the decline is nowhere near as precipitous as Andy Robertson's despite being a year older, he looks absolutely shot.

Yep. Which is why it's nonsense to worry about being a 'selling club'. They all are. You might as well be one that gets it right.

The regulations are making life very difficult for us, I accept, but to be in this much of a mess with hours now, not days, left in the transfer window doesn’t reflect well on anyone.
