Rogers signed 18 months ago for 10-12m. If we sold this late I would think it's a £100m package, which if offered we should not just rip the arms off, we should lock them in a dark room and keep them there until the money clears. He's the most statistically impressive footballer I've ever witnessed, for a player who hardly ever actually plays well. He has the odd sublime game for sure, but 90% of the time we carry him, he's a walking booking and last few months, looks like he can't be arsed. Anything of that kind of money, sell, bank the money, have long term targets, find the next one.

Hardly ever actually plays well? Come on. I entirely get the point that he is effective even when not playing at his best, but the idea that he’s a complete statistical anomaly is a push.

He's good for a few minutes at a time. His stats are outstanding. He's scored some great goals. He's got some good assists.

He loses the ball almost instantly when he's not fully on it, which is for sporadic short periods in games. He's much better on the counter breaking the lines which teams have wised up to and don't give him space to turn into, and he's generally got the passing ability of a gnat on the piss of he's not fully on it.

I love him at his best, he's brilliant and clearly hugely talented. £90-100m, sell all day. We can become a better team.

Not sure even if we got 100m tomorrow that there would be time to spend it in a controlled fashion before window shuts.

Sure we’ve got this speculation from the cartel media machine on a weekly basis until January if it doesn’t happen by Monday night.

Hasn’t rushed to sign his shiny new contract yet either!

He hugely talented, he's brilliant, he's worth £100m but he hardly ever plays well?

Exactly Clampy. He's a full on contradiction of a footballer. Glad you see it too.

I'd say it's a full on contradiction of the person who posted it.

Hey lads, remember when we were buying that Georgian?! That was a fun 2 hours. They won't be able to take that away from me.

I think the post shows the struggle Emery has with him. We've become totally reliant on him switching on for ten minutes of a game, even when his first touch is out of play. He never gets hooked because he might, might do something.

I do think there is something in your last line. He definitely needs subbing more.

Ha ha yes. People who don’t like football miss out on adrenaline rides like this. The stupid mooks.

It’s really sad to see posters admitting/justifying selling MR without deep reflection of why we might have to.

We’ve known the rules and they are the same for everyone, so don’t blame PSR no matter how unfair they might be.

The enforced sales of Jacob Ramsey and potentially someone else is because of a failed recruitment policy. A month or so ago, there’d be an uproar at that kind of statement, but now more and more fans are genuinely questioning the wisdom of sanctioning such high wages and loan fees on so many players who might not have been or might not be worth it.

Buck stops with Monchi and he should have been fired at the start of the summer. If we couldn't afford Diaby's wages in the summer of 2023 then we shouldn't have signed him.

Having to sell Ramsey is rotten on just about every level.

Yeah, it’s all that Monchi’s fault for the psr and EUFA financial constraints, the wanker.
