Even so. First team Arsenal player goes somewhere better than Fulham, I'd have thought.

It's just a pretty well-trodden path. Player at Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea finds themselves on big wages and unlikely to play, nobody else has bought them at the end of August so they end up on loan at another London club out of convenience.

He's the new (well, old) Smith-Rowe.

Don't believe it unless it was a loan.

🚨 Aston Villa have added Nicolas Jackson to their shortlist & are closely monitoring his situation — talks have already taken place.

I can only see that happening if Watkins is off, so it's a "no" from me. Would be slightly more in favour if Mings is willing to give up the number five shirt for him.

If Newcastle offered £65m for Ollie tomorrow, buying Jackson would make sense for Emery.

If we went back to 4-3-3 and Jackson played off the right like he did at Villereal sometimes it wouldake sense.

If neither of those happen, it's not happening.

You would also have to take into account approx 5 games a season missing because of disciplinary problems.

Ascension good player on the way down imo, really tailed off last season after brilliant early match’s I think a 3 year deal is crazy.

I'm not really sure who Newcastle go for once they sell Isak aside from Watkins. Doesn't mean they get him obviously but the market isn't great for forwards. I don't want him to go but it's a deal I can see happening.

Jackson seems to be the polar opposite to Ollie in terms of temperament. 5 years younger though, has worked with Emery before and Chelsea want him gone.

Wissa at Brentford has been linked with Newcastle pretty heavily.

I rate St Helena higher.

Id say Wissa is more of a replacement for Callum Wilson than Isak. Good player.

We need to find a way to get value out of Malen and Guessand before we sign more attackers.

As it stands I'd be tempted to play them either side of Watkins and try to get the beating of both fullbacks.

Malen really needs a run of games to showcase what he's all about, 15-20 mins every other week isn't enough. I'd be a little peeved if I were him.
