I love Ollie, he’s ace. He’s been a fantastic signing and a great asset to Villa. However I do have agree with Keane and Wright, there’s a difference between a great player and elite. Unfortunately I guess elite costs an awful lot of money…..or sometimes a player has the Midas touch for a season, aka Wood.

I’d love to see Bowen in a Villa shirt playing that role, he makes similar runs, works hard and knows how to finish.

Roy Keane spouting bollocks - as usual.

Watkins is not good enough and should have put both chances away.  Highly critical of everything Rashford has done thus far.

Never says anything positive or insightful - just slags players off.

Gobshite.

If Bailey had a  right foot, he'd be dangerous.

Comes inside every time. Defenders just show him down the outside and pounce.

Huffing and puffing a bit.

66.7% possession, but  struggling to break down a low block with 5 across the back.

Now where have I seen that movie before?

Cardiff are hanging on. Desperately defending and we just need one for the floodgates I think.

It's been all hands to the pump for them for pretty much the whole half.  Going to be hard to maintain that, it's just whether we're clever enough to find the key.

Dominate, miss chances, but you can just see what's going to happen. The story of our season summed up in that 45 mins..
They will score from their only shot on goal in second half?
nailed on.

Unless we bring on fresh legs and talent. Come on, Villa!

A lot of focus on Cardiff should have had a penalty - where was that focus when Cucurella was assaulting Bogarde last week.  Mixed standards.

I think it was, I would be disappointed if not given for us.

That was a penalty.

Looked like it on the replay. Fortunately it wasn't given.

I change the channel at half time, whoever the experts are, not into listening to them.

Get Rashford Maatsen and Bailey off.  Rogers Digne and Ramsey on.  Need to be quicker and more direct.
