No idea Rambo why I need to get a grip. I said at times we look fucked as it’s about inconsistency.  Haven’t said it’s a disaster or a write off. But it’s been a great opportunity to establish ourselves and keep our decent players and be in the top 6 but it’s whimpering out.

FYI I was 2 in 1985. Anyway I’m done in this match now. Time for the next one
Fair play. Im an old git.

No worries mate. We are all on the same side. Let’s hope we get the FA cup this year.

That was a shocker of a miss from Rogers before half time. Would expect more from Asensio near the end, never got hold of that shot with his left.

Very interesting team selection coming up on Wednesday. No Kamara is a disaster. Tielemans was running on empty last 20 mins or so and needs a break.

Was the 46th time a player has been sent off against Aston Villa in Premier League history and Villa have failed to win the game (D26, L20).

We lose or draw more than we win (Won 45). Could be a bit misleading though without looking at the minute of the sending off, or whether we were also down to 10 etc, but we do seem to struggle. Dunno how that compares with other teams though.

This one's a bit more interesting..

Since the start of the 2020/21 Premier League season, #AVFC have had 70%+ possession in a game in the competition twelve times (W3, D7, L2).

We are all over the place in defence, but it cannot help that we are constantly changing our defence every game.

Garcia, is okay and a trier but not the answer at right back, also I know that Mings gets a lot of love on here but for me if we do want to constantly challenge for top 4 then he is just not good enough, same can be said for Cash.

Watkins, for me we should have sold him in January and kept Duran, the young lad should have been the future of our attack.

We need better defenders for next season, but if we do not get into a European competition then we will struggle to attract the top players that we need, also some of our better players (Rogers / Kamara / Martinez etc.) could look to move on from Villa, as they have had a taste of the Champions league and will want to continue to play in the European competitions.

It is going to be an interesting summer for Unai and Monchi.

This is the first game I’ve ever been to at VP where I didn’t care about the score. Took my 7 year old lad for his first ever game. It was just magical. Best VP experience I’ve had in as long as I can remember.

He didn't mind the wind, rain, result or grumpy Villa fans? Good lad.

I took my lad of a similar age, he said 'Dad, why don't they just kick the ball in the Ipswich net?'

Out of the mouth of babes...

He probably heard lots of new "nicknames" for our players after that match.....

Garcia, is okay and a trier but not the answer at right back,

Interesting how different people see different things, I thought he looked good the last two games, for someone new to the country, I think he has great potential.

Same here.
Didn’t stop running, kept going beat his man a few times.
An upgrade on Cash with bags more potential.

Bloody loved it. Wants to go again asap but asked that we get the train next time. Didn’t get home to SE London until 10:30. Whoever on here suggested parking in Star City is in my baddest of bad books.
