I think there is a wider anti-midlands bias and definitely an anti Birmingham bias. It's either obvious in constantly portraying people with a midlands accent as thick or just bias by omission. What national presenters of anything have a clear West or East midlands accent. Plenty of Scots, London/Essex, Manchester and Scouse but a gaping whole in the middle of the country. Even people like Lineker, a Leicester lad sounds more London now. Was it coached out of him to get on ?

In my new stadium daydream, Comcast use our stadium and their contacts to relocate Sky Sports to part of the new ground, partially funding the (re)development.
