… well thought through post…

I do’t have the time served, but recognize the sentiment.

Paddy McGuinnes came across really well on his WDYTYA I thought so I have revised my opinion of him somewhat.

When he was filming in Vietnam he made someone drive four hours to get him a KFC because he wouldn't eat the local food.

I struggle with him on the Radio
Interesting idea but I think it would work better on TV.

I'm not sure what's going on here other than trying to dominate me and continue the unneeded narrative after I made it clear several times, but Drummond sir,  please your projecting . And it's a lot of projection  on to  me.

Let's be fair, reasonable, and honest Drummond.
What exactly is it about my musings , way of being that irks you so.  Respectfully can't you just disagree with what I say when you want to disagree. Why such sweeping generalisations on my posting and character??!!!

Context so H and V know truths .
I may be mistaken and awfully sorry if it wasn't you as someone (and more than one ) have engaged via pm but did you once contact me very nicely to engage via pm being sympathetic , understanding and enquiring about any (my) condition given you said you're familiar with supporting people (from what I recall please if you have the message you sent I give permission to post it here as I can't quite recall everything you said) I think you very well did but my mind plays tricks ok so I'm not trying to say you did but I felt you did and thought it was ever so nice even though I'm weary of people.

So I can recall that I responded to you (or /and others) with a nice message and gave my thoughts on privacy and sharing, as well as my warm respects and gratitude for messaging.

It's very confusing if this is the case with your good self as others who are mean have never communicated with me private message but as you had I feel completely and utterly drained by this suggestion of permanent wind up!

I'd say "tedious" is when dozens of posters take threads off topic, but just one of them is constantly derided and bullied for doing so. The same poster also gets harassed for keeping threads on topic.

Yes.

I slept on it.

There's off topic and then off topic . And you know what I mean.

There's deliberate actions, accidental actions and then just plain wind ups.

My post was in response to "Boo Kamara" and not in a manner suggesting that Kamara has done anything wrong. Should it matter? Probably not in isolated incidents, but it's a constant pattern of behaviour, it's irritating, nobody else does it, and that, added to numerous other things, becomes too much.

You've been there, and left the forum for a bit. I've been there and done the same . But I've been on this forum for more than 25 years and in all that time I don't think I've ever known such a persistent and consistent approach that feels like a deliberate wind-up. I say feels because that's how it makes me react. Almost half my life spent on here chatting to you lot and whilst many wind-up merchants, trolls and ne'er-do-wells have come and gone, or been around a lot there just isn't the same level of intensity and self-regard everywhere on this board.

Anyway, maybe it's just me, maybe I cope with the large part but then get worn down by it. We can read about Ron Saunders, discussions about our better players and tactical approaches to meandering off topic and funny discussions that stick to a theme, to someone that does it completely differently and wants it all their own way.

To then get called out by the very same person on a frequent basis about what they don't like, why everyone else is wrong, why things should work in an alternative fashion, and who tries to dictate the way the forum should work feels wrong to me. They then decide to do their own thing and fuck everyone else anyway before then suggesting we all just move on (before then doing it again. And again. And again. It's hypocritical, it's annoying and it ruins the comfort of this place. For me.

If you like it and enjoy it then good on you, you're better and more tolerant peeps than me. I thought I was quite a tolerant person. I like discussions and disagreements and talking things through. There just isn't the scope to do that though. I express my frustration and am told I'm bullying.

Most people alter their behaviour to adapt to situations, most people on here empathise with the feelings of others, regardless of how much they may disagree.

Plenty of people dislike the politics or reasoning of others but rarely, very rarely, when someone behaves in a way that antagonises others so clearly do they continue in that fashion
… well thought through post…

I do’t have the time served, but recognize the sentiment.

Sorry can't you see for those who get annoyed , it is primarily due to my way of thinking and simply being unsuitable to your tastes and preferences.

And Drummond I don't really think that's on as I do feel you did pm me and I feel confused that you're saying these things about me.

I have openly said I never mean to annoy or cause ill harm to annoy one here and I try to fit in as much as I can fit it and get engaged and enthusiastic on topics as well as having many thoughts and ideas. I apologize if that overwhelms or annoys you or anyone as it's not the intention!

I'm not sure why there is an issue too when I advise moving on is because it's unnecessary to dwell , I'm mindful of others in community and/or that situation has been worked out or understood, and no need to on go discussion.

Of course, I understand and respect people have sentiments, but I believe what you said about being a purposeful wind up., is outrageously unfair, and peddling that narrative when I have a strong feeling I answered  a pm sent from you is not on, darn unjust, and I'm calling it out if it's the case!

I'm saying let's move on again from this please and I, like many others, have valentines to prepare for but owe to myself to reply but respect what's being said and how Drummond is feeling. I'm hoping it's constructive that I say projecting on me Drummond as I really don't know what else I can say :
There was a show called different strokes and the father who adopted two boys was called Drummond. The theme tune
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes. It takes,
Diff'rent Strokes. It takes,
Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.

Everybody's got a special kind of story
Everybody finds a way to shine,
It don't matter that you got,
not alot,
So what,
They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine....

I send love to everyone here! And the way I think, feel, or write may have to mean some have to be more open-minded as similarly do I to other people's preferences on humour, crudeness or beliefs let alone football opinions!

Now that's all cleared up I like to sort out rest of my valentine's prep so have a nice valentine's  weekend with your beloveds, for those celebrating, and do enjoy the Ipswich match this weekend.

My game is fair play.
I will carry on being me on Wednesday for Liverpool. And will be looking by then to discuss Axel Disasi appearance like everyone else on this thread!

Up The Villa!

Once upon a time, there was a poster called Brice Jovial. It was a like a shit sitcom so he took a break and came back with some new characters (staff) and called it Footy-Vill. Re-boots never work.

I wonder how many new players check to see what the fans are saying about them....

"Hey Axel, there's a 41 page thread before you've even played"
"Wow, what are they saying ? Do they like me?"
"Most of it seems to be talking about Sid James, Peter Kay, and Paddy McGuiness "
"Nearly two weeks I've been at Bodymoor Heath. Why haven't I met these people ?"

Anyone still seriously think this isn’t a wind up account?

I don't really care what they post. I probably now only read about 10 - 20% of what they post, but they are definitely more than 1 person/let persona slip. You have the odd occasion where it's a completely different writing style and when it happens it really sticks out. People really just shouldn't engage though if it winds them up, you'll feel better.
