I was disappointed we scraped a draw, it was probably the weakest Arse team they have fielded this season. Too many players were poor Maatsen crap and Onana obviously not able to cope physically.
We should have gone 1 up but Watkins again fluffed his lines, redeeming himself with the equaliser but if we had taken the lead I think we win the game. Cash similar lets Trossard cross easily for their goal then sublime cross to Watkins.
We are still unable to beat the top teams. Tielemans superb second half.

Very happy with the draw in the end, especially as it keeps us firmly in the mix for European football next season.  Didn't think it was the greatest performance for us, though we did have some good periods of play.  We're just a bit too sloppy, too often and give the ball away too many times which invites pressure on ourselves.  It's not just one or two players doing it, it's pretty much the whole team at the moment.

That Arsenal meltdown video is entertaining

I’ve never really noticed it before, even though it’s been mentioned many times on H&V that Arsenal fans are quite special, but my Twitter feed today is so funny. I’ve never seen such a meltdown as big as this before regarding the disallowed goal. Apparently if it was Salah hand, it would have counted. They seriously think the world is against them. It’s embarrassing but very entertaining.

I might have a tiny bit of sympathy but it was a blatant handball, one of the easiest VAR decisions since it’s been used.

You do realised they haven’t lost at home since they last played us don’t you? That was a very good result, they are still an excellent team with an exceptionally good midfield.

Both our goals were excellent.

Their goals were scrappy crap.

Spent last night in a field with virtually zero reception and the only notification I got was Havertz scoring their third. Very pleased to get to civilisation and find it was 2-2. 😁😁

It always amazes me when some of our fans search for things to be negative about instead of enjoying a rare moment for us when we've scrapped our way back into a game to earn a valuable point. Especially away at a team 2nd in the league who had aspirations of winning the title. Football fans are a strange breed sometimes.

I guess what still separates us from the top three is that after coming back from two down, we didn't show much ambition to go on and win it. As if we knew our role - to contain their renewed efforts, drop deep, play on the counter-attack.

If they had scored a late winner, it would have been difficult to say that they didn't deserve it and I guess most of us were just waiting for the inevitable concession in the last few minutes. We're still more plucky than we need to be if we're ever going to properly challenge.

In a pretty competitive field, Arsenal are the most entitled of all the top London clubs.  Over twenty years since they last won the title.  Long may that continue.

I did find amusing that lad who after the game had finished was still sitting there banging the seat in frustration. Silly arse.

Performative nonsense, he knew the camera would pick him up, the twat.

We did have the Bogarde chance to win it, almost squirmed under the keeper .

That's a very good point. It's a state of mind. Even now with them being relatively shite if Man U were to come back from 2-0 down how we did they would be expecting them to get the winner. Players and fans alike.

I think our tactics all game was to hit them on the break, it was more of a struggle to get opportunities in the last 10 mins, they are 2nd and unbeaten at home for a reason. I don’t think it was a plucky performance, I think we were pretty clinical, scoring two out of 4 decent chances (Tielemans hitting the post and Bogarde hitting one at Raya the others) and then pretty resilient. Really the only time they broke through our lines was when they hit the most, given Havertz punched it in and Trossard was offside.

I think there's a lot of that on these Arsenal TV thingies. It's so over the top, you can tell its for effect. No one gets that angry over a draw.

I earlier watched Villa on Tour which was 25 minutes mostly advertising London pubs as they went on a pub crawl.  Fast forward to when they get into the ground and there's a cameo appearance by our own Darren Wooley giving his score prediction and his big 'up the Villa!'

I’m not totally convinced the ball hit Havertz’s arm for the disallowed goal…..it looks like it came off the pointy pit of his hip bone.

But, hey ho.
Shit happens. We should have had a corner that wasn’t given.

You don’t really believe that do you? You can’t have really watched it, or you’re on a wind up.

You watch a couple of angles at normal speed and it does look suspect. However the BBC showed conclusively it comes off his arm including zooming in and pausing it.
