Jake Paul isn't a YouTube influencer playing at boxing anymore - he's been training at the top level for seven years. He can afford the sort of training camps that only elite boxers usually get and that's bound to have an effect. It'll be interesting to see where he goes from here because he's clearly now a decent fighter.

Did he show he was a decent fighter though? I get his best tactic was to just survive, but I'm not exactly sure it showed much of what he can do. I've now seen it and just thought it looked embarrassing by him on the whole. He's obviously an actual boxer now and not just a YouTuber, but I still don't think he's a very good one. Need to see him against someone his own size but even then he was knackered by round 4 and it wasn't like many punches were being thrown.

He took a few decent shots and had Joshua missing with a few more. He's no champion but in Britain he'd be area title level at light-heavy, which is still some going.
