It suits my nihilistic mood.

Fucking jazz, though. There's no need for it. It's the one thing Risso and I were in complete agreement about.

Sad jazz I can handle, for a limited time - not the 27 minutes that an average jazz track lasts (or seems to last).

I've only just realised I've been posting in the boxing thread. I wondered where my post had gone.

Just watched the full fight and I had it Eubank Jr by three.

Reminded me of Brook v Golovkin. A valiant effort but the natural weight difference was key. Difference being that Eubank Jr is no GGG, and couldn't close it out.

I'm uncomfortable with boxers losing loads of weight before a fight. That's how they end up dead.

Eubank being in hospital for 36 hours afterwards would back that up.

Easy points win for Aaron McKenna over Liam Smith, Smith looked finished after his previous fight surely he won't carry on.

Liam Smith's camp getting a lot of praise over here for their classy conduct post-bout. By all accounts, McKenna is one the 'good guys'. Hopefully he has a bright future.

Luke Campbell has won the election to become Mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, that's quite a career change.
