I am wrong as i think i saw  a stat when he was west ham manager and that emerys record  vs moyes wasnt freat but we won the last one he was in charge?

We have drawn against Everton  last few years. I think they will definitely  be better so will be tough.

Dont understand  the logic in this appointment its like they want to go backwards. If i was a everton fan i much rather would have seen someone like fonseca

A safe pair of hands for a relegation struggle when they are odds on to survive. Not much potential immediate upside to taking a risk, but a very obvious downside.

The team that finished against West Ham with Duran replacing Watkins. Luca's been brilliant but Maatsen deserves his run. And Leon and Ollie are just not on it this season. At all.

I would start with big Jhon, he must be raring to go.

Absolutely would start Big Jhon, Watkins hasn’t done enough the last 3 games to not make way.

Just the goal and two assists. Tough crowd.

Agree, when you consider 3 home games and the opposition levels he should have been filling his boots .

Suits TV I guess (it's on TNT if anyone wasn't aware)

Two consecutive new manager bounces to - possibly - face

1-1

Play at a high tempo and it's a stroll in the park. Play that turgid shit we did for 65 mins on Friday and we lose

The goal was a penalty wasn’t it? Duran straight back in for me too.
Think he deserves a run of starts.
Love Ollie but his conversion rate is poor this season.

This is going to be so hyped, return of the Saint, unfinished business, Blue half of Merseyside stand to welcome returning hero.
I really hope we piss on their chips but fear the worst

Just try not to concede a daft goal in the opening 20 minutes. No idea why we're such slow starters.

Reappointing Moyes? What next? Us reappointing Martin O'Neill? Tony Blair becoming Prime Minister again?...

They’ll get an emotional lift from Moyes going back.
Listening to talkshite  on Friday and i heard Tony Bellew calling Moyes a snake who is not welcome back at Everton. I get the feeling that's the general view of Toffees fans after the way he dumped them for the United job. The players will probably put an extra shift in though but I still think we will have a bit too much for them even with the new manager bounce. 2-1 Villa. Onana and Watkins. Gary Lineker for them.

Keep it tight , quieten the crowd slowly take control score a winner . Bit like when Big Dunc took charge for our game a few seasons ago .
