1st January Man City 0-1.I dont feel the cold, but all I remember of that day, was that I was stood on the Holte, it was awful & it was freezing.
I remember a Leeds game in the mid 90s, possibly SBL's first season, when it was fucking baltic. It wasn't even a night game either. Was sat on the front row of the upper Holte and the wind was cutting across the park, game finished 0-0, Brian Deane was playing on the left wing for them and I don't think i've ever wanted a final whistle to blow so much so I could get back to a nice warm pub.
Does anyone know which game at home was the coldest to watch in our history? My wife has just told me that I must be mad to go to the game tonight, putting on a few layers tonight!
Cold? You bits of kids don't know the meaning of the word.Notts County (a) League Cup tie when Stan and Richardson both dummied the same free kick.

Chelsea at home in the fa cup 3rd 87, 2-2, with Steve Hunt equalising with a diving header in the last min or so. Dunno what temperature it was but the Holte end was an ice rink and the few thousand of us there were lucky to get out without broken limbs…the days!

I was there too, but we left just before the end and heard our equaliser just as we were walking past the Holte pub.
Have those predicting a full strength team ever seen an Emery cup selection before?
