I imagine yesterday we saw what they had in mind when signing Malen, him playing with Ollie, and it's just being a question of getting the rest of the team set up right to make it work.

I thought it telling that Emery in his post-match comments highlighted that they still don't know his best position. I think that's the issue with game time for him, as he's clearly not ousting Watkins as first choice, but deserves time himself.

It's important for players to get a regular spot they can feel comfortable in, there really aren't that many that can switch around into a number of positions easily.

Yep, give him a yard of space around the box and he's lethal, we need to find more ways to create those gaps for him.

He is a good player - like the idea of him and Watkins against lesser teams.
