Brentford were above us. So we literally defeated the last team we played that was above us in the league.
Yes, but that obviously doesn't count! ;-)

TBF, 2 thirds of the league were above us at that point. And we were at home.

Anyway, it's our away form that we need to improve mostly. When did we last beat a top side away?

Arsenal last season?

Leipzig on Tuesday. 🙂

Tbf we need to improve our (league) record against twat teams this season. Even allowing for the traditional Man U exception, we did very well against twat teams last season. Just one point from five games so far this time.

This is the clearest draw there is. Therfore it won't be.  8)

1-3. Watkins Brace.
i would probably take a draw tbh. Forest  ia not a easy place to go

Can't see Chris Wood for the trees 🤷

Hopefully it will be the same team that started on Tuesday

Hopefully not. Need Ty to bring the fury and Onana to fuck Chris Wood up at set-pieces.

Their forum is quite entertaining.

Quote
I vote we have a discreet word with Aston Villa and the teams emerge from the tunnel carrying 3 European Cups between us.

Put them casually down on the pitch, carry on as normal. Maybe get the mascots to take them off the pitch before kick off.

Why?

BECAUSE WE BLOODY WELL CAN.

Other than Liverpool, all their wins are against teams in the bottom half.... Sound familiar?

Should be a good game. A win sees us climb at least one place over the weekend, two if the blue half of Manchester lose.

one of the forest blogs mentioned that the current top 6 are all champions league/European cup winners...            plus Arsenal (chuckle)

We’ll have to be clinical, they’re pretty good at limiting chances.

It’s how spiritlevelsantos sets his teams up.
The world domination he achieved at Wolves was very much soak it up and counter punch, he has to be fair had the edge on Emery.

It is an easy place to go - just straight up the A38.
